If you provide credit card information to LifeAlign over the telephone, then this information is used by LifeAlign to complete your order. The financial transaction is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) before transmission to the credit card processor.

LifeAlign is committed to protecting the privacy of children, and does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and does not in any way target its website to children under 13.

The Way We Use Information

Online Professional Education Requirements

We keep your personal and course information on file for five years from the date of course completion. This information will be made available on request to any licensing or accreditation board conducting an audit of your continuing education units. It will also be made available to any licensing or accreditation board who has certified LifeAlign to offer continuing education courses, and who is conducting an audit of LifeAlign’s records for any reason.

If you choose to enter a discussion group on the LifeAlign site, then personally identifiable information is available to other discussion group members, to the instructor and the administrator.

The courses, course content, and user participation in the courses are blocked from search engine access.

LifeAlign uses personally identifiable activity log files to review your progress in a course. These activity logs are used to provide customer and technical support, to verify course completion, and to make ongoing educational and technical improvements to our website.
